Bill Wyche presided over the meeting.

Pens are being returned to be sent to the troops as part of the TN Woodturners goal of 1,000 pens to be sent to our military personnel overseas.

Kirk Smith demoed a fluting technique. He showed two special jigs that fits his lathe perfectly.

Bill Smith demoed the texturing tool. Using 400-600 rpms using a 2mm wheel to keep the vibrations down & make consistent marks on your wood piece.

Next class at JSCC will be Spindle Turning. No date set at this time.

The International Food Festival will be here before you know it.
Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital will be the charity of choice. For the booth we will NEED items to sell. Please put a price on items you donate. Spinning tops will be given out for cash donations. Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital (Joan Taylor) said they will provide stickers, banners and cash collection jars. A few items for donation are listed below:
